Oklahoma Census's

I found the 1900 census with the family on it, that I was looking for. (See post below, Mary Combs ) They were in Indian Territory, Cherokee Nation and the Census IS at ancestry.com but it IS NOT linked. You have to actually go through them. State, County, Township page by page by page. I had sent money to the Oklahoma Historical Society to search for this family also and they came back with nothing, they look at ancestry also. They did not do any actual work going through the census's. There must be many people who have gone through the same thing. Just because they don't come up at ancestry does not mean they are not on the census's. Why ancestry has census's that are not linked is annoying to me as I have a paid membership and should be able to access all their files. Anyway hope this helps someone. Take the time and go through each page if you can - or have someone do it.
