Hi, I am searching for any information regarding my great grandmother, Hortense Maples-Reeves-Henderson. We think she was from Searcy, AR/White County Arkansas. Her first husband was a man by the last name of Reeves who was hung leaving her with 3 small girls. It was said that he was hung because he was Mexican however the mob was confused as the man was said to be native American. My grandfather's wife died leaving him with 4 boys. He told them that he was "going to ARK to find a wife" and a week later he returned with Hortense and her 3 girls. They had two sons, Hugh & Alfonso Creed Henderson-my grandfather. They lived in Braggs, Indian Territory/OK and Fort Cobb, Indian Territory/OK. She was buried in Muskogee, OK in the 50/60's. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Terri Henderson-Fields
