Looking for info on Lewis "Loy" Cloon and Mabel Johnson Cloon

My grandmother Mabel Johnson married Lewis "Loy" Cloon when she was only 17. Around the tim she had my mom in 1918 Lewis ran off leaving mabel to fend for herself. She was so angry at him for abandoning her and their baby that she refused to use his last name even though she never divorced him. Mable died in 1965. I would like to find out what happened to Lewis Cloon after he hightailed it out of Minnesota. I understand he went to Oklahoma and also worked out of the country, possibly Peru or other South American companies. One tale has it that Lewis was a wildcat oil driller, while others say he only did plumbing out of the country. If anyone can help me find out more information on Lewis Cloon I would appreciate it.
