John Gilbert and Edna Mae Hooe

My name is Stella Naomi Kinser, born 02/14/1922 in Kiowa, Oklahoma. My father was John Gilbert; he married Edna Mae Hooe 02/16/1919 in Kiowa, Oklahoma. I have done a some re-search, all in an effort to gather infomation to help me obtain my birth certifacate. L have not yet recieved my certifacate but find I am hooked on the Geneolagy of my family. If anyone has had simular problem with birth records or knows anything about the Gilbert-Hooe family, I would appreciate hearing from you.
