Court cases online now in Oklahoma

Free databases are now online to access county court cases (divorce, marriage, criminal, traffic tickets, civil suits, small claims, etc.) for both PENDING cases and RECENT (three to twenty-plus years) county cases for approximately 40 of Oklahoma's 77 counties. More counties are slowly being added:

Click on SEARCH DOCKETS for one database and NON-OCIS COUNTIES for another. Some counties only have limited databases for three years back in time. Other counties go back 20 years. Ottawa County is uploading marriage/divorce records from as far back as the 1940's!

Here's a link showing all 77 court court clerks' contact information:

Public databases mean just that--available to anyone. If records are still available, you can contact the individual county court clerk on how to obtain a copy of a particular file, and what copying fees are involved.

Or ask if someone can do a "look up" at one of the county's message boards on GenForum or Rootsweb.com/. Just type in the county's name in the "JUMP TO FORUM" box at the top right of this screen.
