Wow! This is what I've been looking for. My GGrandfather was Jack Pinnell. He was a highway patrolman in the 1920's. He died on 12/8/29 of pneumonia. His wife was Frankie Pinnell (Downs), children: Jack Jr, Billy, LaWanda, Cecil and Henry. I would love to hear anything before, during and beyond this period. This is all I've found so far. After Jack Pinnell died, his wife Frankie married a Downs. I would love to find out who Jack and Frankie's parents were (my GGGrandparents). Any info you can provide would be great. I'm also trying to establish our (possible) Cherokee background. I'm told that Jack was 2/3-3/4 Cherokee. Please help. Thank you.
