What records do you have that show Choctaw or Cherokee? They lived on the east side of Indian Territory.
Around Greer County there were Kiowa, Comanche, and Apache to the east and Cheyenne and Arapaho to the north.
Greer County was still claimed by Texas until 1896 and then became part of Indian Territory.
I'm not saying that you are not part Cherokee or Choctaw, it is just uncommon for that part of the state.
