My g. grandfather was Marion or Merrian Morris who married
Janie Junita Oxford. They settled in Oklahoma before it became
a state. They resided in McCurtain Co. They had 11 children
my grandmother was the baby girl Minnie Lee Morris Hudson
born around 1920 and died in 1971. Other siblings included:
Robert (Red), Grace, George(Booger), Beadie, Frank Delbert
(Nub), Berry (slick), Jack(died in WW11 in Japan), Janie (Monk),
Vinita Earl (Bill) and Pete Morris from Wright City, Ok. who recently passed away. Some of the family later moved to
Oregon. Some say that they may have came from NC or
Tenn. area and that we are Indian decendents??? Any infor
concerning this family would be appreciated. Diana
