Thank you so much for your reply to my query about E. C. ARMSTRONG.

His sister, Clara, never married. She is buried in or near Honey Grove, Texas with other siblings who also
remained single.

I believe Eli Crockett ARMSTRONG had one son, not sure if he stayed in the area.

The ARMSTRONG family owned a lovely old home near Richmond, Ky. during the Civil War. The Battle of Richmond took place near there . Each year the battle is reenacted. The old house and the people who resided there are an important part of the story. http://www.battleofrichmond.org/
