Mr. Ray
thank you so much for the information.
I was just about ready to give up finding any information.
William henry Brown was my ggrandfather, and worked for the railroad for many years.
We were told he was working on a railroad there in oklahoma, when he died from a head injury,
He was hit with a crosstie.
We haven't been able to find any record, perhaps the info you sent will lead us the right direction.
He was born in georgia and was buried in garvin cemetery , we were told,
He has no tombstone , and was buried by the 100f lodge .
The information i have , was found in a newspaper , but there was no date or name on the newspaper to help us.
the article states he was a resident of Garvin for a number of years.( maybe 1911 through 1913)
I could not find a census for him in oklahoma.
we believe he lived there after leaving ark. , the years 1911 through 1913.
thank you again.
