Rites Held at Kingston
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Kingston Nazarene Church for WILLIAM THOMAS ‘TOM’ HUFFAKER, age 57, who died May 27 after a short illness. Rev. BEN WILKINS of the church conducted the services with interment at the Linn cemetery with Masonic honors. Watts funeral home of Madill had charge. Mr. Huffaker had lived in this vicinity the past 50 years and joined the Masonic lodge when a young man. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. ALVIN HUFFAKER; four sons, THEO of Longview, Texas, CHARLES of Colton, California, GLEN in Alaska and J. D. of San Diego, Cal.; six daughters, Mrs. GENEVA AUSTIN and Mrs. LORENE BRIDGMAN of Atwater, Cal., Mrs. ROBERT GANT of San Francisco, Cal., Miss JUANITA , Miss TOMMIE LOU and Miss DOROTHY DELL HUFFAKER, all of Kingston; three brothers, WALTER HUFFAKER of Arkansas City, Kansas, IRVIN HUFFAKER of Wilson and ALFORD HUFFAKER of Colton, Cal.

Woodville Man Dies
CUTHBERT LAWRENCE STEEL, who lived near Woodville the past 40 years, was buried at the New Woodville cemetery last Sunday. Services were held at the Kingston Methodist church by Rev. J. S. DENNIS, pastor. Watts funeral home had charge. Mr. Steel is survived by his wife, Mrs. LOTTIE STEEL; three children, HARRY STEEL of Alvarado, Teas; Mrs. THELMA MCGRAHAN of Woodville, and DON STEEL of Inglewood, Cal., two sisters, Mrs. BESSIE AYRES of Hominy and Mrs. SIMMIE CLANCY of Electra, Texas.

Services were held here Monday for RICHARD JAMES COATS, age 63, who died suddenly at his home here Saturday. Rev. CHARLES BLACK officiated. Interment in the
Madill-Legion cemetery arranged by Watts funeral home. Mr. Coats had lived in Madill the past 40 years. He formerly engaged in the grocery business and was recently the owner and operator of the New Deal Café. He is survived by his wife, SYLVIA; sons, RICHARD and RALPH, both in the U. S. Army and unable to attend the service; stepson BILLY; grandson RICHARD LEE; and sister Mrs. R. H. STROTHER of Madill.

James D. Malone
RALPH GODFREY of the Madill Church of Christ conducted services at the Watts funeral home chapel Monday for JAMES D. MALONE, who died after a lengthy illness. He was 74 years old. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. NETTIE WELL and Mrs. MARY SEARS, both of Brownwood, Texas; three brothers, JOE MALONE of Madill, WILL MALONE of Chickasha, and JOHN MALONE of Ferrell, Texas.
