NATHAN L. WILLINGHAM
.
Nathan L. Willingham, resident of the Marsden community for 63 years, died unexpectedly at his home of heart disease Friday morning. Funeral services will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at the Bettes Funeral Home chapel by George W. McCullum, minister of the Ardmore Church of Christ, with burial at the McAlister cemetery. Pallbearers: Ott Freeman, Taylor Goldsmith, Marion Goldsmith, Ambert Page, Sam Paxton, Ervins Anderson, all of Marsden.

Born in 1881 in Leon County, Texas, Willingham married Ida Bartley in 1901. Six children were born to this union. A member of the Church of Christ for many years, he was a widely known resident of his community.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include three sons, S. L. Willingham of Marietta, Joe Willingham of A.A.F. Randolph Field in Texas, Grover Willingham of Grady; one brother Tom W. Willingham of Ardmore, four sisters, Mrs. Sally Matthews of Wilson, Jennie Talley of Erick, Maggie Reigh of Ardmore, Mary Reigh of Madill, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
