My 2nd great grandmother was Penelope Shingleton who first married a William Parsley. She then married John H. Monroe who is buried in Logan County. She had at least two daughters by John Monroe, Dora and Mary (Polly).
I believe I found Dora married to a Clarence Winner in the 1900 census, Rose Hill, with children Millie and James William Winner; however,in 1910 both Millie and James are living in separate residences as Dora is said to have passed away between 1900 and 1910.
I also believe I found Mary Monroe married to a John William Poteet with daughter Lucy also in 1900 in Guthrie.
I would appreciate anyone's help in locating marriage records for these couples to see if there is a record of a marriage between Dora Monroe and Clarence Winner and between Mary Monroe and William (John) Poteet (Potete)
