James and Minnie Emma Kister Gentry Forest Twp. ca 1897-1903

I have found listed James and Minnie Emma Kister Gentry on the 1900 US Census records for Forest Twp., Pottawatomie, Oklahoma with my grandmother, Nora, and her sister Frances. James and Minnie married in 1896 in Kansas City, Jackson, Missouri but by December 1897 they were living in Forest Twp., in this county. My grandmother is listed as having been born in Chandler, Lincoln, OK as well as some say McLoud on 22 Aug 1897.

Are there any kind of records with the railroads that would document that they might have traveled by train to this county or any type of land record transactions that might show where they purchased land. Could someone do a look up or Would anyone know where would I find such records?

Thanking you in advance for any help you might be.
Carol
