I'm looking for info on the Brasiel and Flowers families from the Jacktown/Meeker area.

Robert Brasiel was born 1861 Jefferson Co., IL. married Malinda Jane Flowers in 1881 and later migrated to Grayson Co., TX. where three of their 13 children were born. Sometime around 1897 Robert and his family migrated into Indian Territory and settled at Jacktown, Lincoln Co., OK. Robert's obit states he lived in the Mammoth area when he died --- and he and Malinda are both buried at
Rossville Cemetery. Their childred are: Willie "Ivy", married Edna Fields; James "Brady", married (1) Isabelle Haskins, (2) Pearl Riddle; Vernie Newton, married Sarah "Lettie" Rowan; Otis Crawford, married (1) Bertha Hall, (2) Bertha Agnes Quattlebaum; Maude Lovella, married William R. Standlee; Alice Sylvia, married Monte Haskins; Johnny, died very young; Mary Beulah, married William Clarence Honeycutt; Robert Fred, married Clara Goss; Elinzo M., married Jewel Grider; Luther Wayne, married Lillie Elzada Beesley; Sarah Jane, married Curtis Roberts; and Mamie Elzora, married Lester P. Curtis.

One of Malinda Jane Flowers brothers also settled in this area --- his name was James William Flowers and he was married to Clarissa M. Sollis. They too had 13 children, as follows: Mary Ann Elizabeth, married Seth Galloway; Rosa, married Mack McDaniels; Julia; Nancy J., married James Lane; William Roland, married Della White; E. M.; Colby Francis "Sam"; James Levi; Ada, married Mr. Church; Ollis B., married Moses Loud; Alta Pearl, married Willie Fields; Hayden E. "Jake"; and Jessie J. Flowers.

I have several lines that run through the Brasiel and Flowers linage including --- Sollis, Green, Meador/Meadows, Tate

I'd love to share info --- Jimmie
