Hi Pat, I live in Lincoln County. I work at the courthouse in Chandler. I looked up the canvass for White Dove and found that Perry Smith was buried in White Dove Space #7, Lot 191 in the Christy Add( orig. Cemetery). I did not know if you had that information or not. Also send me specifics on land records that you need and I will see if I can help you there. My email is Be looking forward to hearing from you again. Have been trying to research my family surname of Foyil around the Sparks area and have not made much headway. As for Mr. Smith being a Sheriff I could not find anything. You might contact the Museum of Pioneer History & Lincoln County Historical Society at: 717 Manvel Ave, Chandler OK 74834 or 405-258-2425. Curator is Jeanette Haley. Hope you find what you need. Good luck
