Nancy Jane Staley McMickles Willkett

My cousins have been working on getting the parents of Nancy Jane McMickles Willkett since before I started researching in 1988. This file was sent to me by a Kindrick/Staley researcher this week.
Now, my great grandfather's brother's family can know and begin research on Nancy Jane Willkett's biological family.
Please contact for further information because this file was over 15 pages.
State of Arkansas County of Pulaski. (paraphrased...) Clerk of the United States Circuit Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas.31 July 1866
Sarah Staley, who after being duly sworn according to law, declares and says that she is aged Fifty five years, that she is a resident of Argenta, opposite Little Rock, County of Pulaski, State of Arkansas, and that she is the widow of Ezekiel Staley who was a private in Company A commanded by Captain E.W. Dodson of the 3rd regiment of Arkansas Cavalry volunteers, cammanded by Colonel A. H. Ryan...that she was married to the said Ezekiel Staley on the 4th day of December A.D. 1827 at Clarksville, Tennessee by one Smith Esq. as near as she can recollect who was Justice of the Peace whose given name is not remembered that her husband aforesaid Ezekiel Staley died on the day above mentioned, that her name before her said marriage was Sarah Berryman, and that she has remained a widow since the death of her said husband,...she further states that at his death, her said husband left surviving him only the following named child who was then under the age of sixteen years; that said child resides at Argenta opposite Little Rock, having since married John (P?) McMickle and at the date of this declaration is of the age herein stated, Nancy Jane McMickle 18 years of age resides with her husband as aforesaid She was born Jane 17th A.D. 1848...."

Sarah Staley signed her name-no x.

Sarah Berryman Staley's witnesses were Sarah McINtosh 69 years old and Elizabeth Smith 35 years of age residents of Gray township in the county of Pulaski Arkansas.
In the other papers, Nancy Jane has a sister Mary Staley Gilmore. Did Mary Gilmore live by Nancy Jane Willkett in Pope co. before they went to LeFlore co. about 1877-1880?
For many years I have searched for my own great grandmother's documented parents. Her name was Margaret Jane born 1840 Mississippi according to the 1860 Pope co. Arkansas census where great grandmother Margaret Jane was listed with her husband, William Henry Woolcott, and son Jerry A. Woolcott/Woolcutt and later spelled Willcutt and Willkett in Arkansas and Oklahoma.
I have helped search for Nancy Jane's McMickle's family in Missouri but never found any definite proof hoping someone would run across Margaret Jane Kindrick Woolcott's ancestry.
This should give the cousins and those interested in the Staley family a boost.
