Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Mountain Station
Cemetery for James Henry Maroon, Rt. 2, Wilburton, with Rev. Caldwell
officiating.
Mr. Maroon, 71, died Tuesday, November 7.
He was born April 27, 1879, in Hope, Arkansas, and had lived in
Latimer county since 1938. He was a member of the Holiness Church.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah Ann Maroon; one daughter, Mrs.
Jennie Tolbert [sic], San Pablo, California; five sons, Tom of Colfax,
California, Johnnie of Richmond, California, Sam, Wilburton
[Oklahoma], James A. of Madera, California, and Richard of Ft. Bliss,
Texas.
