Seeking descendants or relatives of Martha "Mattie" CURRY, born abt. 1855 in Alabama, moved to Texas with family in January 1874 and settled in Washington County near Chappell Hill, TX. Mattie's parents were Ebenezer CURRY and Harriet CRAIG. Her siblings that moved to Texas with the family were Sophronia, Emma, George, Lou and Ebb. An older sister, Mary Ellen CURRY, married Eli E. WHIDDON abt. 1862 and remained in Red Level, Covington County, AL.

Mattie CURRY married John RADFORD abt. 1880, possibly in Washington County, TX. John and Mattie RADFORD moved to Oklahoma, date unknown. Family photographs list their children's names as George, Peter, Gordon, Juno?, Belle and Anna. These photographs were taken at the Barker Studio in Hobart, Kiowa County, OK.

Please respond if you recognize any of these RADFORDs or if you know the successor to the Barker Studio in Hobart, OK.
