It is entirely possible that the Toennie name could have been simpified, esp. since it is pronounced like 'ten yes'. He could have been an older brother, cousin, etc. that would have given John and Christina incentive to move there for a time, I think between 1880-1900. Do you know any more abt William? birthplace? parents? progeny? How would I find this wall? How far from Tulsa?
