Samuel B. Hunt was my 3rd great grandfather and I am trying to find some additional info on him. He was born in NJ, and also lived in IA, MN, settled in Cowley Co., KS for awhile, then moved to Kay Co., OK in the 1870's. He married Margaret Farrow in NJ. They had 13 children and half of them lived to adulthood. Samuel died in 1897 and Margaret moved in with her two sons, John D. and Charles. I have a note that John died 2/16/1917 and Charles died 2/22/1939, both being single.
I know that Samuel is buried in the IOOF cemetery in Ponca City, but have no records for Margaret, John, or Charles. There is also a daughter, Mary Hannah (McQuiston) who is buried in this cemetery and thanks to find a grave, her tombstone (and Samuel's) are posted.
Does anyone know who I can get in contact with for the listing of burials in IOOF or does anyone know of this Hunt family?
