Can someone help me?

Recently found a certificate dated April 20, 1926 from School District #2, presented at Newkirk, Oklahoma. (Is Newkirk, District #2?) Stating that my father (Gardner Ellsworth Chase) had perfect attendance in school. He would of been 10 years old. His father was a police officer and i was wondering if anyone could tell me if there is any records online to look up police officers for Kay county, Newkirk, Oklahoma. I am wondering if he was a police officer there. His name is Ernest Ellsworth Chase. He went by Ernie. They eventually moved to Winfield, Cowley, Kansas. Ernie was a police officer there also and retired. Died in 1945. Thank you so much.
