Am looking for any info on Floyd Lee Osborne b. Nov. 19, 1925. He was in the Army stationed at Camp Bowie in Brownwood, Tx in 1944-45. That's where he and my mother met. Supposedly he was killed on a transport ship that was torpedoed in the Pacific, end of WWII. I really would appreciate any help on finding out about him 'cause he was my Father. I don't know his parents names or if he had any siblings. Am trying to get this info from the gov. and his military records. Don't know if he grew up there or was just born there and they moved on somewhere else. Any info would greatly be appreciated.
