I am also a great-grandaughter of Bulah. My grandfather was one of Farley Ladd and Bulah's sons. His name was Walter Benton Ladd. I have been searching for information on Bulah for some time now and hitting a brick wall. I'm so happy to see your posting. I think the only Rowdens buried at Connerville are B.A. and Thomas Everett and his wife, Vina. Bulah is buried at Sunnylane Cemetery in Del City, Oklahoma.

I was always told that Bulah was at least 1/4 Cherokee. My next step, now that I know her maiden name, is to check the Dawes Rolls of the Five Civilized Tribes and see if there are any Nimms listed. So happy to have this information. I would love to share findings via e-mail if you wish to contact me.
