Ola Mae and Walter BROWN abt. 1935

I have just been loaned about 35 letters from the 1920's-1937, that were written by various family members and their friends.
Most of my family were strung out between NE Texas (Fannin, Grayson, and Hunt Counties)and southern Oklahoma, (Johnston, Tillman and surrounding counties.)

One of the letters is written by a young woman by the name of "Ola Mae" (Aug. 17, 1935- Sherman, TX). Ola Mae's last name unknown to me. Ola Mae, speaks of having run away from home (home being Wapanucka, Okla.) and marring Walter BROWN. She asks that all mail be forwarded to their new address in Sherman, Texas.

I am looking to find out if Ola Mae and Walter Brown may be related to me. I am also seeking info on a James (Jim) Brown that was residing in Orangeville, and/or Whitewright, Texas about the same time. My great aunt (Velma TRAVIS) was working, living and receiving mail at his address. She later married Chilton BARRY and moved to Trenton, TX.

Looking for info on TRAVIS,BOYLE, SANDERS, BROWN'S and BARRY'S in these locations mentioned.

Please e-mail me directly as I do not check this page often. Just click on my name at the top to view my address. Thanks, Debbie
