Hi Nancy, I realize your message is over a year old and you probably already have this information. I found a Jeff Davis family on page 277 of the Johnston County census of 1920. I couldn't read the ages of Jeff or his wife Mary, he and both of his parents were born in Tennessee. Mary and both of her parents were born in Texas. Two teenage boys, Jeff and Milton,were born in Texas and an eleven year old daughter. whose name I couldn't read, was born in Oklahoma. They lived in the town of Wapanuka. Hope this helps.
