Know all men by these presents: That i T. J. Honea, of the county of Johnson and State aforesaid, for and in consideration of the sum of One Thousand Dollars ($1000.00), cash in hand paid by J. R. Bryant, the receipt of which is hereby fully acknowledged, have granted, sold and conveyed and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said J. R. Bryant, of the county of Greer, Territory of Oklahoma, all that certain lot, tract or parcel of land, described as follows, to wit: The Southwest quarter of Section 8 in Township One North of Range Twenty One West of the Indian meridian, in Oklahoma, containing one hundred and sixty acres (160) Reference being made to Homestead Certificate No. 93 Application 556, to have and to hold the above described premises, together with all and singular, the rights and appurtenances thereto in anywise belonging unto the said J. R. Bryant, his heirs and assigns forever. And I do hereby bind myself, my heirs executors and administrators to warrant and forever defend all and singular the said premises unto the said J. R. Bryant, his heirs and assigns against every person whomsoever, lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof. Witness my hand at Cleburne, Johnson County, Texas this 26th day of August A. D. 1901. T. J. Honea
