Services for Flora Gentry, 91, 313 S. Hinckley, were conducted at 2 PM today at Barnard Memorial Methodist Church by Rev. Robert Templeton Jr.
Mrs. Gentry died Jan 22 at Physicians and Surgeons Hospital. Born at Horsecave,KY., March 19, 1874. She came here from Texas over 50 years ago.
She leaves five daughters; Mrs. Tom Williams, Mrs. Joe Wheat, Mrs. Vester Mabry, all of Holdenville; Mrs. Bob Gill, Tucson Ariz.; Mrs. Ola Robinson, Wewoka; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Dave Smith, Hardyville, KY., and several nieces and nephews.
Burial was in Holdenville Cemetery directed by Hudson Funeral Home.
Active bearers were Ralph Steele, Sabe Smith, Lewis Clark, Ernest Erwin, Oliver Mathis, and Ashley Thetford.
Honorary bearers were Kenneth Keesee, Forest Morphis, Ed Moore, Binas Hostettler,Dewey Bankston, K.V. Love.
