I know of the Melton family murders. My great grandfather lived just down the road from them when he was a small child. Mrs. Milton would go over to their house a lot and talk with my great great Grandmother, Hulda Anglin. After the murders, My great great grandmother come into possession of the murder weapon. A straight-edged razor. She was very upset by the murders. She took the razor and buried it deep underground. To the best of my knowledge, it has not been recovered to this day. I can ask my great great uncle what else he can remember about the story. He is 90 years old, but he has a good memory. Please email me if you would like me to help.
