Good to hear from you. I probably am not going to be of much help to you. But tomorrow I will go thru and send you an email of the things I have. You can 'mine' the web for some shots of the prison....inside and out....it really hasn't changed much as far as I know. I toured the State Pen in Rawlin's Wyoming and found the prison almost exactly as it had been in the very early days. Most of these places had enough people to paint and repair constantly and like a ship they remain in pretty good shape. My grand-dad died in 1963 and I am sure he could have told some stories on the place...The prison should have photos....I would think....You might consider filing a Freedom of Information Act request and see where that goes................alot of these government places will not respond 100% without some prodding....During the depression period though alot of the normal standard operating procedures were by-passed for lack of funds....birth and death certificates sometimes not filled out etc etc..............sound like you have an interesting history there.
