I have very little information on him. Margot told me that Wiley was murdered in or near Mangum OK. His wife at the time was Bertha Goad Shaw. What is odd, is that distant relatives of Bertha's lived in Mangum at that time. My grandparents and great grandparents were long time citzens of Mangum. They probably had moved to Mangum around 1921. Also Bertha's uncle would have been living there about then.

She gave me that he was murdered in 1922 in or near Mangum OK and that he was buried there. So far I haven't found him buried there. Bertha died a few years later and was buried in Ada OK. I believe this is where they were living at the time he was killed. I will email Margot again to see if she's found out anything new since I heard from her a few years ago.

My grandparents lived in and near Mangum for over 50 yrs. They had a auto repair shop and later added a dealership in Mangum. Unfortunately, they had both passed away when I heard from Margot. My mother was born in 1930, so she has no memories and doesn't remember anyone telling her about his murder.

By chance, do you know Daniel and Wiley's parents names?
