The mysterious Tatums in Mangum
Posted by: Frank Williams Date: July 21, 2001 at 20:33:28

I am looking for any information on the Tatums from Texas and Oklahoma. Specifically Maude Tatum (my Grandmother) Her parents were Dave and Alice Tatum and her siblings were William,Arthur Thomas, Bert, and Myrtyle Tatum. From what I know they were from around Wellington Texas and Migrated to Mangum Oklahoma in the early 1900's. If you could supply any info on this family please contact me via email. They are buried in Mangum
But I cannot find any lineage information on them and once my grandmother died in 1920 it was like she never existed. No headstone in either family plot (Williams or Tatum) no death certificate no nothing and I have been
looking for over three years. If anyone can help please let me know. I dont know where to turn.
