I attended a little country school for a few weeks in the late 40's. I cannot remember the name and wondered if
someone would know. The teacher was a Mrs/Miss Starbuck.
We were there while my Dad worked on an oil rig out in
the middle of a corn field. The house we lived in was in the middle of a broom corn field.
Could there be anything about this little school in the book you have?
