Worthington Family
Husband died in 2000,and our children are more determined to find his family history. The Worthington family, I find is very hard to trace. I know who his father is, because he wa the best father-in-law ever. I also know who his father was,but not his mother, except her name was Martha. My father-in-law was Ralph Worthing, b:1911 in Langdon, Reno, Kansas. and d:1995 here in Omaha, Nebraska. Ralph was the youngest and oly boyand had 10 sisters. Some of them were half sisters, as both parents semed to have been married before. Martha's maiden name or her last husbands name of McCune, so some of Ralphs sisters were McCune. His siters were , as far as I know. The McCune's were Phoebe 1906-, Mary 1900-, Malissa G. 1891-, Bertha B. 1892-, Nellie J. 1896-, Willa L. 1898-. The Worthington sisters were Eva 1906-, Laura 1905-, Edith 1910- and Lucille(no dates).Eva Worthington may have been married 3times, #1 Ellany Schope, #2 Lester Swart, and #3 William Rogers.I don't know if she had any other children, but I was told she and William Rogers ahd a son by the name of Ronald, like my husbands. Eva at one time lived in Enid, Garfield Co., Oklahoma. When Ralph was a teen, I believe that he and his parents once lived with Eva and her first or second husband.I don't know the married name of Ralphs other sisters. But they used to call his sister Lucille Aunt Cel, and Her husband Uncle "T". They lived in Marianna, Lee Co., Ark. I know during the 60's , 70's and 80's.I don't know if Eva lived in Enid, Ok. her whole married life toWilliam Rogers or if they had lived elsewhere.I looked up all the cemeteies in Garfield Co., Ok., but never saw her name in any of the cemeteries.Does any one know anything about this Worthington family. Please help if you can.
