"LEE EASTERLY
Services for Lee Easterly, 84, 2211 E. Chesnut, will be at 3 p.m. Friday in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joseph Redmond officiating. He will be buried in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
Easterly died Wednesday evening in a local nursing home after a long illness.
He was born in Kansas and came to Oklahoma with his parents at an early age, the family settling on a farm near Pond Creek. They later farmed near Hillsdale.
Easterly and Estella C. Dowers were married in 1915 and she died in 1947. Two sons, two daughters, three brothers and two sisters also died before he did.
Easterly farmed in the Hunter area for a number of years before moving to Enid in 1955.
His survivors include four sons, Marvin and Jack of Enid, Homer of Hennessey and Ivan of Hunter; a daughter, Mrs. Effie Allen of Macon, Georgia; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren."

"MARVIN S. EASTERLY
The funeral for Marvin Sylvester Easterly, 76, who died Friday, May 22, 1992, at his home, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Brown Funeral Home in Enid. Raymond L. Miller of Trinity United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
He was born April 22, 1916, near Hillsdale to Lee and Estella Pearl Dowers Easterly and attended schools there. Over the years, he lived in both Hillsdale and Blackwell. On August 20, 1938, he married Margaret E. Woody in Taloga. They moved to Enid in 1939 where he was employed by Franklin Motor Company as an automotive parts salesman for many years. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Enid and has served on the Methodist Church Evangelism Commission for three years during the 1960's.
Surviving are his wife; one son, Kenneth of Hutchinson, Kansas; one daughter, Mrs. Don (Barbara Jo) Gould of Marietta, Georgia; one sister, Mrs. Ron (Effie) Eckert of Bonaire, Georgia; two brothers, Jack D. of Enid and Ivan L. of Hunter; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Crusaders Sunday School Class at Trinity United Methodist Church."
