Looking for information about Washington White who settleld one mile north of present day Hunter, Garfield, County, Okla. Jane (Purcell) White died 24 November 1895 and was buried on a part of the farm. Their daughter Minnie was buried next to her mother in 1905. Another daughter was married to Steve Riggs. What ever happened to Washington White? Are there any decendents of Steve Riggs in the area?
Mary Ellen Purcell homesteaded near Pana and married Patrick Roach another homesteader. Pat Roach had a movie theater in Hunter. My mother was Dollie Roach, b Sept 20, 1905, and attended the Hunter school. Would be
interested in hearing from relatives, (Wilson, Lounsbury, White, et al) or friends who knew Dollie Roach.
