Bill,

There are lots of references here, check them carefully. The death date is different than the one you supplied, and the age in this first one appears to be incorrect.

---------

Enid Daily Eagle, Enid, Oklahoma, Monday, December 3, 1951, page 13, column 8 Funerals

N A JOHNSON

N A Johnson, 68[sic]-year-old Cherokee Strip pioneer and resident of Enid, succumed Saturday night in the home of his daughter Mrs Dorothy Golusha, 418 West Illinois, after a long illness.

A native of Virginia, Johnson moved to Kansas 67 years ago and then came to Oklahoma during the opening of the Cherokee Strip. He staked a claim near Perry and engaged in farming until his retirement in 1923 when he moved to Enid. He was a member of the Methodist church.

Services are pending at the Brown Funeral Home.

N A JOHNSON

Services for N A Johnson, 88, Cherokee Strip pioneer who died Saturday night, will be held Friday at 2:30 pm in the Brown chapel with Rev Ralph K Hooper in charge with burial in the Enid cemetery.

-----------
This short notice was repeated Thursday and Friday.

- - - duplicate of article in Daily Eagle - - -

again, the short notices were repeated Wednesday through Friday, just as in the Daily Eagle.

-----------------------------------------------------

Bill - there is an excellent museum in Enid, the Cherokee Strip museum. Since Noah was in the land opening, they may have information on him.

His homestead papers should be available for you to locate at the Noble county courthouse (Perry) and there are probably probate records to be had - - since the obituaries didn't provide the names of siblings and parents you were looking for.
