I am interested in your HERRELL lineage, my mother born in Ellis County, Ok was a RATLIFF, and her grandmother was a HARRELL (maiden name) out of Texas. Or had been living in Texas when she married a Joseph RATLIFF son of Guilford and Mahala RATLIFF.
My search in the HARRELL, HERRIL, HAIREL, HEARAL, etc.. lines has not officially tied me into any due to lack of finding documentation but I know that my great grandmother is some how associated with Jacob M. and Mary HARRELL from Roundrock as the RATLIFF family purchased property from them and shortly there after is when my gr grands (Francis HARRELL and Joseph RATLiFF were married in the mid 1800's).
only last night while searching thru old papers that I found in a deteriorating trunk did I find a new piece of the HARRELL puzzel, mentioning a Lucy HARRELL.
There is a HARRELL group that if you are interested in joining I can give you the email address to, it seems many who are related to these lines are searching and there is difficulty finding families, but the more joining the more information comes in and helps clear the lines.
The name SANDERS for some reason also seems to jump out at me..
Write and we will see if we are able to tie into one another's lines.
