Where did your great grandfather live and may I ask his name? Baseball in 1916 was taken very seriously in Dewey County. Lenora had a ball team as did Seiling. I am from Seiling and I have pictures of this team. I think that there may be one of them online in the Dewey County, Oklahoma genweb site. I think that Camargo also had a team. I'm not sure but sports was not done during the day time at school. The team usually practiced after school. I will check our local paper in 1916 for the names of the teams and the players.

Let me know what area your great grandfather is from.
