Dear Rochelle,

I will do my utmost to write in proper English, but it is not my native language. My name is Tom Schoonhoff, 37 and I am living in The Netherlands, Europe. During a little searchwork on the web I was pointed to this site for the following reason. I was searching (just for fun) on www.google.nl and looked for my familyname: Schoonhoff. One of the results came, very surprisingly for me, from the United States!
In The Netherlands there are only a very few people (about 15) with this Familyname, and they are all direct family from me. Therefore my surprise was complete when I found out that the name, spelled exactly the same way as our name, was used overseas.
Would you please be so kind as to inform me with more details about the name Schoonhoff? Maybe I might be able to help you with your search, because our name we found back till in the 17th/18th century.

Thank you very much for your time and effort,

Yours sincerely,

Tom Schoonhoff
