My grandmothers first husband was James C. BEAIRD b. abt. 1875, d. 1903 Quannah, Hardeman Co., TX, marr. 21 Aug 1902 Quannah, Hardeman Co., TX to Mary Willie ADAMS b. 9 Apr 1887 Dallas, Dallas Co., TX, d. 8 Jul 1970 La Junta, Otero Co., CO, bd. Burkburnett Cemetery, Burkburnett, Wichita Co., TX. After James died, Willie married Clark Alexander BOREN b. 27 Nov 1883 Montague Co., TX, d. 25 Jul 1962 Wichita Falls, Wichita Co., TX, bd. Burkburnett Cemetery, Burkburnett, Wichita Co., TX. Willie was buried under the name Mary Willie BOREN.
James had a brother, Sam BEAIRD. Both were part Indian. James' daughter, Arvie Elizabeth BEAIRD b. 23 Jul 1903 Quannah, Hardeman Co., TX, d. 8 Jul 1970 Conroe, Montgomery Co., TX, bd. Burkburnett Cemetery, Burkburnett, Wichita Co., TX was contacted about her Indian rights in Oklahoma.
