Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
Did you get this information? It is on page 548 of marriage book 2 in the Custer County Courthouse. I copied it from microfilm but it will have to be resized before I can email it to you. The husband is H W Sauer, age 30, from Graves. No place of birth was listed. Graves is now known as Custer City. (I worked there for over 15 years) Could be a brother of George, Albert, Christian, Nellie and Louise. He would be older than all these siblings. The parents were Henry and Lena Sauer. Albert and Christian were listed as born in Ohio but the others were listed as born in Nebraska. The 1930 census lists a stepson, Dennis Crum, living with George and Lena(not Lena the mother) Sauer. I think I know a niece of Dennis Crum and will try to get in touch with her and ask some questions. She has an extensive Crum history, so maybe it will show in laws also?
They were married by A J Shelton, Justice of the Peace, on 30 Dec 1902. Witnesses were W H Stites and A M Stites.
