I did a search for Oklahoma Death Certificate. You go to . . . . .They are $15 and you must request them in writing. What record do you have of Flora showing she was alive in 1946?
I found Flora, her husband John, son Daniel, son John, son Murray and daughter Margaret in several census from 1900 to 1930. Of course, they weren't all in every one and the 1930 has the wrong age indexed for Daniel. I have done a preliminary search for Flora in our Custer County cemetery book and don't find her or any of the family. 1930 son John is not listed with the family and maybe there is one in San Diego, CA, but of course without more history we don't know if it is the correct one. Oklahoma does not have many records on line, so if he married here, we would have to find it at the courthouse or on microfilm. The 1910, 20 & 30 census shows them in Deer Creek township which is NE of Arapaho and closer to Thomas. IN 1930 John is a real estate agent and Flora is a retail agent. Son Dan is a Barber. Of course, the mass exodus during the depression was mainly in the 1930's
