Looking for any information on Jaunita Deere and Buster McClish.
A story on the internet calls Jaunita the Child Mother. Jaunita was Creek and only 11-12 years old in 1934 when she became pregnant by Buster. They were given permission to marry by a Sapulpa Judge.
She gave birth to a 9 1/2 pound boy, named John Paul McClish by C-section.
Jaunita's Mother was Woosy Deere. It is unclear if Buster's parents were living at this time. The story says his parents readily gave their permission to marry, but we were always told his parents died when Buster was a small child.
Both attended Bacone College.
Unsure, but think Jaunita died early 1970s and maybe John Paul too, possibly in a house fire. Buster died in the 1980s.
Would like any info on birth, marriage, divorce and death dates. Did John Paul have any children? What cemetery are Jaunita and John Paul buried?
Buster is my daughter's grandfather thru his second marriage.
