Perlina/Paulina's parents were Rufus & Catherine Fraley Humphrey. Rufus was son of George & Elizabeth Kendrick Humphrey of Washington County, KY. Catherine Fraley was daughter of Isaac & Catherine Shoemaker Fraley of Lawrence Co., KY. Isaac & Catherine were natives of Russell Co., VA.
Rufus Humphrey was a Baptist Preacher in Morgan, Elliott, Carter, and Rowan Counties in Kentucky. Rufus and Catherine are buried in the Cranston Cemetery in Rowan County, KY.
Paulina had a brother, John Humphrey, that died at Barbourville, KY, during the Civil War.
William Isaac Humphrey-Civil War Veteran, moved to Scotland Co., MO-farmer.
Wesley COOK Humphrey-was Sheriff of Rowan County, KY during the Rowan County War (a large scale fued). Lived in Clark Co., Missouri and was in the Monument (tombstone) business.
