I have been searching for a W. E. Denton that married a Effie Lucretia Prather either in the late 1800's or early 1900's. They had three daughters Margie, Virgie and Hursie. Margie was born abt. 1902 and was, I think, the oldest. I don't have a clue of what happened to W.E. Denton, but Effie went on to marry my grandfather, Mack Looper in Feb. of 1910. Effie and their son Cyril died within a month of each other of malaria in Sept and Oct. of 1912. The three Denton girls went on to live with their Uncle Howard Lee "Baxter" Prather in either Delaware or Sequoyah Counties in Okla. I am searching for any info of these girls, W.E. Denton, or Effie and Mack Looper. When I saw Denton Cemetery, I thought there might be a possibility that W.E. might be buried there. If any info of these families drop me a line. Thank you, Dale Looper
