Would your Thomas family be connected to the Dr. G. A. Thomas family from Bardwell, Carlisle Co. KY?
His son, Robert Bruce Thomas, along with others from the area, went to Cache, Oklahoma ca 1899. He was a friend of my grandfather George Young and I have a letter Robert Bruce wrote to him about an encounter with Chief Geronimo.
