i found a mass of info last night on the Commache Indian family that the daughter of my g-grandfather's only sister married into. her name was Allie Beavers Nichols and she married for the 2nd time to a full blood Commache named Tabby-to-sa-vit....that is the spelling from the early 1900's Indian rolls...it was later changed with no dashes between .
the last census i have of Allie was the 1910 census with her daughter Dora Nichols, her sister and baby brother, Laura and Horace Beavers and Tabby-to-sa-vit....he was years older than Allie and died in 1916 , buried at Post Oak Cem. Tabby-to-sa-vit had a son named Samuel whose son Floyd and his wife Ida Mae Ledford ended up in Bakersfield Ca. where they divorced in 1966, after they died, there were both buried in different cemeteries in Ok.
the trail once again for Allie turns cold....
would appreciate any help , thank you .
