Letha Marie (Bruce) Herd, Moore, OK, age 80, was born on April 15, 1929 in Moore, OK the dau-ghter of Charlie and Della (January) Bruce. She departed this life on May 5, 2009 in Oklahoma City. Letha graduated from Moore High School in 1947 and was a member of the Moore 1921-58 Alumni Association. She married Harold A. Herd on June 13, 1950 in Bethany, OK. Letha's family was very important to her, especially her four grandsons. Letha was preceded in death by her parents two brothers and one sister. Survivors include her husband, Harold, one son, Kevin Herd and daughter-in-law, Robin and their children, Kyle and Jacob, daughter, Karen and son-in-law, Billy McElrath and their children, Cameron and Carson, all of Moore one sister, Lena Greenlee also of Moore two nephews, Greg Greenlee and wife Joyce and their children, Sara and Amanda of Edmond, OK and Gary Greenlee and wife Debi of Owasso, OK three nieces, Carolyn Snow and Judy Hightower of Lexington, OK and Charleen Tucker of Norman, OK. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, May 9, 2009, in the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Lester Vogler officiating. Interment will follow in the City of Moore Cemetery under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
