I was trying to find 2nd copy of book that I have - "History of the 142nd Infantry of the 36th Division by Chaplain C. H. Barnes" when I discovered your request. The book lists all OK and TX soldiers by origin city and company. Also lists killed (with details) and wounded. I cannot determine if from Choctaw County but if you could give me some nearby towns I could possibly furnish you with some names.
My father was in Company G from Wewoka. Acutally he was from Yeager, but apparenty enlisted in Wewoka.
Would like to help if I can.
Lowell Smith
